I don’t care who you are Mazda did good with the styling of the 3.

First gen? Yep, an all-time design classic IMO. One of the rare cases where a compact sedan looks great. The 5-door is outstanding, but I’m a little biased.
Every generation after that? Meh.

The 3 has always been a unique car, styling-wise. Every generation has been a nice contrast to the boring, utilitarian sedans and hatches that everyone else puts out. Yeah, I may be a little biased, but I prefer a manufacturer that does things a little different than the norm.
And every time I see a current 6 I let out a little ‘ooh’ before I even realize what car it is. That thing is so drop-dead gorgeous I might even go against my normal disdain for sedans to have one.

The large trunk and fold down seats go a long way to alleviate how much shit can I carry anxiety.

That anxiety is probably why I'll keep my 5 even if I buy another car or three. It's always good to have at least one practical vehicle in the household.

Yep, that’s pretty nice.
Full disclosure: I’ve never seen one. Is this the brand spanking new model?

Agreed, the proportions and practicality on this 3's hatchback is perfect. In subsequent iterations, the back windows slowly disappeared and the hatch sloped even further for increased uselessness.

Yep, first gen was great and everything they did to it after, starting with with first facelift was downhill. I knew it would be even before I saw them.
